Job Description :
Seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists to join the Respiratory Therapy team. This position involves providing high-quality respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in an acute care setting. The therapist will assist with all aspects of respiratory therapy, including treatments, ventilator management, patient transport, and arterial blood gases (ABGs).
Therapists may be required to float between Boise , Meridian , and Nampa
Roles and Responsibilities :
Deliver respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in inpatient and ICU settings.Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and manage RT equipment.Assist with intubations (not required to perform independently).Perform and interpret ABGs.Manage ventilators including Draeger (Adult) and Servo U (Peds) .Operate BiPAP (V60), Vapotherm, Optiflow, Cough Assist, and HillRom equipment.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.Maintain accurate patient documentation in Epic EMR .Participate in scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.Ensure compliance with hospital policies and infection control procedures.Requirements :
Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT or 3–5 years if CRT.Experience with Adult, Pediatric, and NICU patient populations.Experience with NAVA (Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist) preferred for NICU coverage.Must be willing to floatMust reside outside a 50-mile radius of Boise, ID.Education :
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.Certifications Required :
BLS (Basic Life Support)ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)RRT preferred (will consider CRT with required experience)Schedule :
Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM (12-hour shifts)Guaranteed Hours : 36 per weekWeekend : Every other weekend required
