Position Overview :

Excellence Property Care Solutions Inc. is urgently seeking a Licensed Electrician Technician to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor in the Allentown, Pennsylvania area .

This is a great opportunity for a licensed electrician who enjoys flexible, independent work while earning top-tier pay. As a Licensed Electrician Technician, you will handle a range of electrical projects — including troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and new installations — across both residential and commercial settings.

We are seeking professionals who can cover a 50-mile radius around Allentown , allowing us to efficiently serve clients in various nearby locations.

Key Responsibilities :

Comprehensive Electrical Work :

Perform electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance on wiring systems, outlets, switches, panels, lighting, and appliances.

Code Compliance :

Ensure all electrical work meets NEC standards and complies with Pennsylvania local codes and safety regulations. Obtain permits and inspections where required.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics :

Identify and repair electrical issues promptly and accurately. Provide reliable solutions that align with company and industry quality standards.

Installation Projects :

Install and upgrade electrical systems, including service panels, lighting systems, generators, and wiring for residential and commercial properties.

Client Communication and Professionalism :

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Explain issues, recommended solutions, and preventive maintenance tips.

Work Order Completion :

Complete assigned work orders efficiently and document all work performed with accuracy.

Safety and Cleanliness :

Adhere to all electrical safety standards and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.

Provide Your Own Tools and Vehicle :

You must have a complete set of professional electrical tools and a reliable vehicle for traveling to job locations.

Liability Insurance :

As a 1099 contractor, you are required to carry liability insurance. If you do not currently have coverage, it must be obtained before starting work.

Qualifications and Requirements :

Valid Pennsylvania Electrical License (REQUIRED)

Proven experience as a Licensed Electrician Technician

Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, codes, and safety practices

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

Own professional electrical tools and equipment

Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments

Strong communication and customer service skills
