Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech none contractor to join our team! This position is responsible for the maintenance of the facility as well as coordinating outside companies for inspections and repairs.

Responsibilities

Ensure that the outside of the facility and the grounds are presentable and clean

Attend to all maintenance requests put in the Maintenance Book or verbally requested by residents and / or staff

Meet with the Director regarding any maintenance requests that are questionable and also to prioritize maintenance projects

Keep up with necessary inspections of boiler, generator, fire, etc as required

Do maintenance and painting as necessary when rooms are vacated

Work on inside facility maintenance, such as touch of paint in common areas and repairs so that facility looks good

In charge of the Activities van both filling with gas and regular service

Qualification

Must be punctual and reliable, with a good attendance record

Must have good personal hygiene and dress appropriately and safely

Must be mature and emotionally stable, using calm and kind tone of voice, remaining calm in difficult or unusual circumstances

Must be able to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently

Must be flexible and adaptable to changing situations

Must be compassionate and work with tact and ethics

Must work well as a team member with other staff members

Must demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
