Salary Range : $30.00 - $50.00 / hr.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Plumber / Pipefitter to join our Special Projects team in Northern Virginia. The Pipefitter is responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing mechanical piping systems. This includes working with a variety of pipes, such as steel, copper, and plastic, in commercial settings.

Responsibilities :

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
• Plan piping system layouts, installations, or repairs according to specifications.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles.
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of various materials.
• Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and inventory stock on company service vehicle.
• Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.
