Electrical Engineer - Energy & Utilities in one of the posting locations listed below. In this role you will assume multi-project responsibilities for full Electrical design, including Power Distribution, Controls, Renewable Energy Systems, Medium Voltage Systems, Substations, Lighting and Communications for Oil & Gas, Industrial, Advanced Manufacturing and Renewable Energy markets.

Posting Locations for this role : St. Louis, MO; Denver, CO; Indianapolis, IN; Charlotte, NC; Peoria or Champaign, IL.

Job Activities

• Candidate will actively engage in and assume responsibility for :
• Code research and application
• Fieldwork to ascertain existing conditions
• Preliminary schematics through final designs
• Calculations
• Equipment specifications, sizing, and layout
• Coordination with other production staff and other engineering disciplines
• Preparation of accurate Electrical system construction drawings and specifications
• Submittal review and construction administration
• Power systems studies
• Candidate will interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors and maintain project design budgets and schedules while pursuing quality.
• This role includes responsibility for mentoring designers and drafters.
• This role reports to an engineering manager, who will also provide mentoring and training opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
