Advantra is partnering with a Series A AI marketing platform startup in San Francisco to hire a Founding Growth / GTM Associate to help scale go-to-market from the ground up.

About the role

You will own early sales and growth initiatives, building pipeline and closing high-intent leads. You will work closely with founders, product, and engineering to define the sales process, create collateral, and optimize the customer experience. You will help establish the foundation for the company's growth motion.

Responsibilities

Build and run experiments on new growth channels.

Talk to prospects and communicate the value proposition clearly.

Help hire and build the early sales team.

Collaborate with product and engineering to tailor solutions to customer needs.

Develop sales collateral, processes, and early tools.

Gather and surface feedback from prospects to inform product and marketing.

Track sales metrics and pipeline activity.

Contribute to defining the company's go-to-market strategy.

Core requirements

Experience working at an early-stage startup.

Comfortable speaking with prospects and explaining technical workflows.

Ability to prospect, write cold emails, and build pipeline from scratch.

Strong ownership and autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to collaborate across product, growth, and design teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable working in person in San Francisco 5 days / week.

Entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving skills.

Track record of executing on high-impact initiatives.

Passion for growth, GTM, and building scalable processes.

Nice to have

Experience with SaaS or AI-powered platforms.

Background in marketing, growth, or sales operations.

Knowledge of go-to-market strategy and pipeline building.

Startup experience or founding experience.

Familiarity with CRM and sales automation tools.
