Position Overview

Northside Hospital Gwinnett is seeking a Registered Nurse with PACU experience for a 13-week contract assignment. This role involves providing post-anesthesia care during 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity surgical recovery environment.

Assignment Details

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 7, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Schedule Type : Deferred Schedule

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week

Days / Week : 3

On-Call Requirement : None

Pricing Negotiations : Permitted

Contract Type :

Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier)

Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)

Local Candidate Policy : No candidates within 50 miles of facility

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU or related specialty

Current certifications :

BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Holiday Coverage Expectations

Candidates Must Be Available To Work

Two major holidays out of the following :

Thanksgiving Day

Christmas Day

New Year’s Day

One minor holiday out of the following :

Day after Thanksgiving

Christmas Eve

New Year’s Eve
