Job Description
Main Task : Work internally within local and international project teams to develop and industrialize optimized assembly and plant layout concepts aimed at improving the company's competitiveness.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Develop assembly concepts considering ZF Chassis Module Systems (Work Plan / Investment Plan / Assembly Line Layout / Project Timing)
- Support acquisition projects for the production area
- Prepare RFQs for equipment suppliers and oversee integration
- Assist in launching new assembly equipment
- Prepare and maintain PFMEAs, value stream maps, and standard work instructions
- Initiate and support continuous improvement activities in the plants
- Conduct workshops in the plants, e.g., line balancing, problem solving, new concepts, including training plans
- Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
- Determine product specifications for purchasing equipment, materials, or parts according to standards
Preferred Skills & Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field3-4+ years of experience in a manufacturing settingStrong mechanical and technical skillsAbility to make sound decisions promptlyProficient in Microsoft Office, CAD, and SAPExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood time management and prioritization skillsWillingness to travel as neededTeam player with a self-directed work styleDiversity Commitment
