David Hall Masonry, Inc. is looking for an experienced and detail-driven Construction Estimating Manager to lead our expanding Estimating Department. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of 3-4 Estimators, guiding the preparation of accurate and timely bid proposals, managing change orders, and ensuring strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Reporting directly to the Company President, the Estimating Manager is responsible for the full estimating lifecycle—from bid strategy and budget tracking to standardization of estimating procedures. You will play a critical role in winning new work and supporting project success by delivering well-coordinated, competitive estimates that reflect high standards of craftsmanship and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development

Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing estimating team to achieve objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Evaluate bid invitations and assign estimating projects to team members.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the proposal stage.

Ensure a robust and standardized estimating process to meet project requirements and quality standards.

Review supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure alignment with internal cost expectations.

Assist with building permit submissions as needed.

Qualifications

Must have 5+ years of experience in construction estimating or a related leadership role.

Strong leadership abilities with proven experience mentoring and developing estimating teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly numerate with strong analytical skills for assembling, reviewing, and managing complex numerical data.

Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documents, architectural plans, and government regulations.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.

In-depth knowledge of construction industry standards, best practices, and cost estimating methodologies; strong research, proposal development, and oral presentation capabilities.
