Job Description

Join a leading global full-service automotive supplier that specializes in complex metal, plastic, and hybrid structures for body-in-white, crash management systems, chassis applications, and cross-car beams. This position involves working in a plant that supplies parts to renowned brands such as Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assembly equipment as assigned.
• Perform die change and set-up duties.
• Load and unload parts in and out of welders, dies, trunions, and assembly fixtures.
• Operate equipment that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and rivets parts and sub-assemblies.
• Perform manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required.
• Ensure quality and quantities of parts produced meet required specifications and production rates.
• Perform light, routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including start-up checklists, pre-shift inspection sheets, labor tickets, scrap records, downtime tracking sheets, quality assurance checks, and product identification tags.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing production facility. The position requires working 1st shift from 5 : 45 am to 2 : 15 pm, Monday through Sunday, currently 7 days a week. Full training is provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.45 - $15.45 / hr.
