Alter Metal Recycling is looking for one General Laborer at our Cedar Rapids, IA facility. The ideal candidate will have a serious mindset and experience in heavy industrial work environments.

Hours :

Monday through Friday :

7am - 4pm

Summary :

• General Laborer experience in an industrial work environment.
• Heavy Equipment operating is a plus.
• Stick welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
• Experienced with basic hand and power tools.
• May perform specialized tasks which may require on-the job training.
• Experience in the manufacturing, production, outdoor, scrap-yard work environment.
• Communication, teamwork, organization, problem solving, and punctuality is a must.
• We are looking for long-term candidate who are self-motivated, energetic, trainable, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Candidate should have good attendance, a good work ethic, a pleasant attitude, reliable transportation.
• Candidate must also be hard working and able to stay on task with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
