Food & Beverage Manager
Troon Country Club located in Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. This full-time position plays a key role in ensuring exceptional member and guest service, maintaining high standards of quality. Position Summary :
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for supporting the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations at the club, ensuring exceptional member and guest service, maintaining high standards of quality, and assisting with administrative and supervisory responsibilities. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality in a private club environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operations Management :
- Assist in managing daily operations of dining outlets, banquet services, bars.
- Ensure consistent high-quality service and presentation across all food and beverage outlets.
- Training of front-of-house food and beverage personnel.
- Oversee the restaurant(s) to ensure all tables are taken care of and all team members are accomplishing the assigned tasks.
- Oversee closing procedures and ensure cleanliness and readiness of service areas.
- Member and Guest Experience :
- Manage with members and guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly.
- Promote a culture of hospitality and personalized service in line with country club standards.
- Support the coordination and execution of club events, private functions, and tournaments.
- Staff Supervision and Development :
- Lead by example and motivate the food and beverage team.
- Assist in training programs for new hires and continuous development of staff.
- Participate in performance evaluations and coaching.
- Administrative Duties :
- Assist with inventory management.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Qualifications :
Associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.24 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a private club, upscale restaurant, or resort.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in POS systems and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, email).ServSafe or Food Handler Certification preferred.Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.Work Environment :
