Description : Position Summary

In this role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process. You will be effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will need to apply the knowledge and skills in the nursing process and effectively communicate. You maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, co-workers, and other health team members.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Pre-Op Duties : Patient assessments, surgical education, medication administration, and collaboration with anesthesia and surgical teams.
• PACU Duties : Monitoring post-anesthesia recovery, administering medications, managing pain, and educating patients and families before discharge.

You will be expected to document patient care accurately using the SIS Complete EMR system and participate in quality improvement initiatives as part of our patient-focused, high-performing team.
