Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve uncollected account balances through communication with third-party payors and patients

Maintain daily productivity goals while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations

Document account activities and assist with special projects as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred

1-4 years of medical claims and / or hospital collections experience

Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm
