FPA Manager Content Analytics Job at startus in New York

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Be accountable for the forecasting of content costs

Develop & own a systematized approach (data treatment, processes, dashboarding) to forecast analysis, including reporting and monthly variance analysis

Work with large datasets and automate processes

Partner with accounting on month end close deliverables and understand key drivers impacting both the P&L and balance sheet

Assist in the development of management presentations supporting forecast drivers & assumptions

Support the Senior Manager of FP&A in, and also independently run, ad-hoc projects to analyze and understand business implications of proposed decisions

Build sustainable relationships across the business and broader finance department

WHO YOU ARE

You have a degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or another quantitative discipline

You have the technical competence to perform advanced analytics : coding skills (such as Python, Java, or Scala), experience with analytics tools (Pandas, R, SPSS, SQL, Hadoop, or Excel) and experience performing analysis with large datasets

You have a passion for numbers, statistics combined with a strong business and financial acumen as well as interest / experience in data infrastructure and system architecture.

You have relevant experience from working with analysis and / or reporting at a consumer-oriented company in the digital space

A big plus if you have experience working with planning software, such as Adaptive, Anaplan, or others

Excellent ability to build relationships and networks with multiple functions, regions, and at all levels of the organization

You are adaptable and have the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
