Major Responsibilities
The CBI Program Coordinator is responsible for increasing the capacity of CBI initiatives in the four communities in which the initiative is active and supporting the effectiveness of the community leadership councils / resource centers in those communities. This position is also responsible for helping the heads of the community leadership councils and the directors of the resource centers to identify and build relationships with local and county resources that can further the goals of CBI.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Create and / or maintain a database of local leaders, services agencies, civic organizations, and other resources for each of the four CBI communities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community-based organizations serving the community and engage their participation in the community leadership committee as directed by the local CBI lead.
- Attend and take notes at community leadership committee meetings, as needed.
- Participate in community leadership committee subcommittees, as appropriate and available.
- Work with resource center directors and staff to create and support outreach and community awareness efforts, including contributing to strategy, creating materials, supporting direct contact efforts, etc.
- Support specific CBI projects and goals as appropriate and available, including local job development, meeting facilitation, event coordination, etc.

Must have a high school degree or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) preferred.Category : Non-Exempt
