General Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining the club's grounds. All associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and hospitality to all members and guests and consistently demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
Primary Job Functions
- Learn and apply the company's standard operating procedures.
- Landscaping duties include, but aren't limited to, mowing, raking, planting, and weeding.
- Maintenance of the outside common areas on club property.
- Restock supplies, replenish inventory and products.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Greet members and guests throughout the property.
- Understand and anticipate the needs of the property.
- Be attentive and listen carefully to the members and follow through.
- Follow up as required and communicate in a timely manner.
- Be an active participant in events, programs, meetings, and training.
- Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response.
- Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings.
- Additional hours will be required during aerification and other special projects.

Skills & Knowledge
Ability to read / understand, analyze, and interpret general training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, associates, members, and the general public.Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Experience
Minimum one (1) year of landscaping experience.Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities.Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.Ability to work independently or with other staff.Attention to detail.Alertness for safety precautions and ability to safely operate manual and self-propelled golf course maintenance equipment.Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40 -80 pounds.Ability to work on various surfaces and contours such as grass in all weather conditions.Ability for bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting throughout the regular work duties.Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player.Self-motivated, takes initiative, anticipates the needs of others and willing to acquire new skills.Well organized and detail oriented.High cleanliness standards.Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
This position requires on a regular basis, sitting, standing, use of hands and fingers, handling or feeling, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing.Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell.Frequently required to lift and / or move up to 80 pounds.Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Estimated Base Pay Range
$17.25 - $31.00 / hour
