Raleigh Water, a leading utility within the City of Raleigh, is responsible for providing exceptional water and wastewater services to the City of Raleigh service area, including the Towns of Garner, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Knightdale, Wendell, and Zebulon. As part of our Capital Improvement Division, this Engineering Manager position oversees Raleigh Water's Development Review program. This position reports directly to Raleigh Water's Assistant Director of the Capital Improvement Program. Raleigh Water's Development Review team is responsible for utility plan review, utility permitting, maintaining and ensuring compliance with the Raleigh Water Design Manual, and administration of Raleigh Water's Urban Main Replacement and Oversized Main Reimbursement Programs.
The Engineering Manager of the Raleigh Water Development Review position leads a team of engineers responsible for utility permitting and plan review, serves as one of the Departmental liaisons between Raleigh Water and the merger communities served (Garner, Knightdale, Rolesville, Water Forest, Wendell, and Zebulon), and serves as the primary contact for developer and Merger community coordination for Raleigh Water for development utility plan approvals and permitting processes.
