Associate Attorney

This is a national defense firm seeking Tennessee-licensed attorneys with experience in General Liability defense to join our Knoxville office. This role is ideal for individuals with 3-5 years of experience who specialize in defending against all types of general liability claims, including premises liability, and professional liability such as medical malpractice and long-term care.

Our General Liability Practice Group moves cases through the legal system while vigorously defending our clients' interests in court. We value excellence, diversity, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and preparing summaries of medical records to effectively advocate for clients.
• Drafting motions and attending hearings to represent clients in court.
• Preparing clients for depositions and attending depositions as needed.
• Drafting initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trials, and appellate activity.
• Responding to discovery requests and drafting discovery-related motions.
• Regularly attending court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
• Taking and defending depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.

$100,000.00 / yr - $180,000.00 / yr
