Allen & Allen is seeking a full-time Research & Writing Attorney and will report to the firm President and may be located in any of our Virginia offices (Richmond, Chesterfield, Petersburg, Mechanicsville, Fredericksburg, Stafford or Charlottesville). This role will work as part of a team with lead Trial Attorneys, performing research, analysis, writing, and other work on personal injury, product liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, and sex abuse survivor cases. Judicial clerkship experience in appellate or federal court is strongly preferred.

All applications must be accompanied by a resume and writing sample (10 pages maximum). A preferred writing sample is a motion or a motion response that has been filed with a court.

Requirements :

• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Experience drafting and arguing contested legal motions.
• Interest and willingness to focus on research of complicated legal issues.
• Law Review experience is preferred.
• Mock trial or Moot Court experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be licensed to practice in Virginia.
• Other duties as assigned.
