Salary Range / Other :

Management Salary Schedule (2025-2026) Range 40 : $10,245 to $13,017 monthly or $10,496 to $13,268 monthly with earned Doctorate. New appointees will receive year-for-year credit for prior management experience to a maximum of Step C.

Benefits :

The District currently pays for a health options for the employee and dependents. Employees may elect to pay a premium for a higher health option. Vision care and dental insurance premiums for the employee and dependents is District paid. Income protection and life insurance premiums for the employee are also District paid. The estimated cost of District provided benefits (health, dental, vision, and life) is $24,408 annually.

Scope of Assignment :

DEFINITION Under general administrative direction of the Vice Chancellor of District Administrative Services, plans, manages, and oversees the District’s purchasing and warehousing operations, and the administrative activities in support of the District’s risk management; serves as a resource to District personnel regarding material, supplies, and equipment; serves as a liaison between the District and other agencies regarding purchasing and risk management issues.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED Receives general administrative direction from the Vice Chancellor, District Administrative Services.Provides direct supervision to professional, technical, and other administrative support staff, as assigned.

Education and Experience :

• Education : Equivalent to the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, finance, insurance administration or related field, including course work and training in accounting, risk management, purchasing, business office management, business law, or a closely related field.
• Experience : Five years of increasingly responsible management experience involving purchasing and risk management functions for a public or educational agency.
