OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S., including stations in 14 of the top 15 largest DMAs, with duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. They distribute sports, entertainment, and syndicated content, and produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news weekly, leveraging viewer, distributor, and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE : Morning News Producer

FOX 6 News is seeking a passionate and creative Producer who is dedicated to crafting compelling newscasts that resonate with a diverse audience. The ideal candidate is eager to grow their talent, receptive to feedback, and willing to take creative risks. RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Create and produce fast-paced, accurate, and engaging newscasts that capture viewers’ attention.
• Utilize sharp news judgment to cover breaking news effectively.
• Incorporate visuals and storytelling techniques to enhance the broadcast.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver content that enlightens, engages, and informs.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Pay range : $58,000 - $63,000 annually, dependent on education, skills, experience, and location. Benefits include medical / dental / vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Benefits for union employees are in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
