The Loan Operations Officer will work primarily with the Loan Operations & Administrative team supporting Truxton’s loan transaction and documentation functions. This officer will work with other members of this group and with Deposit Operations to interface with the loan system, effect transfers, and process documentation. We are looking for candidates with experience in bank back-office operations, knowledge of commercial lending practices, and with awareness of bank compliance policies and procedures. Will require a person demonstrating strong attention to detail and organizational skills coupled with a developed strength in collaborative work on internal teams. Truxton will have the expectation that the Loan Operations Officer will move into a leadership role within the Truxton organization, a strongly profitable, growing financial services firm.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a member of the Truxton loan operations team, you will :

• Participate in daily functions related to the onboarding, servicing, and maintenance of commercial loans, including new loan bookings, modifications, renewals, and extensions.
• Complete loan maintenance pertaining to active loans including payment setup (ACH & autopay), payment and fee corrections, and other changes as required.
• Perform quality control and reconciliation of loan transactions. Daily reconciliation of general ledger loan account balances (loan suspense / escrow payable / loan settlement, etc.).
• Prepare and review reports on loan activity, portfolio status, compliance tracking and other key operational metrics.
• Review and organize loan documentation on the digital image retention system. Identify and track documentation exceptions. Manage collateral requirements, including tracking, verification, and maintaining appropriate documentation.
• Set up and process investor remittance for participations purchased and sold.
• Contribute to escrow setup and analysis, monitor escrow-related activities of other loan personnel.
• Assist loan operations personnel with preparation of loan material for examiners, auditors, committees, etc. Interface with auditors and examiners as needed to meet their information requirements.
