Base pay range
$110,000.00 / yr - $115,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline application support to attorneys and legal staff, ensuring smooth operation and user proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, iManage, CompareDocs, Litera, and DocuSign.
- Troubleshoot formatting and technical issues in Microsoft Word, including macros, styles, and layout inconsistencies.
- Create, edit, format, and proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with firm standards.
- Deliver first-line application and document support remotely for attorneys and staff across multiple offices.
- Coordinate, assign, and monitor incoming workflow requests through task management tools such as BigHand Hub, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Conduct monthly training sessions for associates and secretaries via Microsoft Teams to enhance technical proficiency.
- Facilitate onboarding for new attorneys and staff, providing guidance on firm applications and processes.
- Support administrative operations, including conflict check processing, time and expense entry, scheduling, and file management.
- Deliver firmwide training on newly deployed software and applications.
- Log incidents and service requests using the firm's ticketing system, escalating or reassigning tickets to the appropriate technical staff when necessary.
- Provide remote technical support and training to attorneys and staff via collaboration platforms such as WebEx and Microsoft Teams.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in a legal support, document services, or administrative workflow role within a law firm or professional services environmentAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Word; ability to troubleshoot complex formatting and document issuesFamiliarity with legal software including iManage, Adobe Acrobat, CompareDocs, Litera, Best Authority, and time / expense tracking toolsStrong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlinesExperience working in a distributed or multi-office support environment is preferredAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team-focused settingSeniority level
