Set up, operate and troubleshoot plastic or metal molding machines to ensure parts meet quality and production targets in a high‑volume environment.
Key responsibilities
Install molds, set machine parameters, start‑up and shut‑down lines
Monitor cycle times, temperatures and pressures; adjust for scrap reduction
Perform in‑process inspections (visual, dimensional, SPC)
Conduct minor mechanical / hydraulic / pneumatic repairs and preventive maintenance
Keep accurate production & downtime logs; escalate major issues to maintenance / engineering
Adhere to ISO / TS quality, safety and 5S standards
Typical requirements
2 + years on injection, compression or blow‑molding equipment
Ability to read blueprints & use basic metrology tools (calipers, micrometers)
Working knowledge of scientific molding, RJG or Paulson a plus
High‑school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate preferred
