About Us

Nestled on a beautiful, wooded campus in West Roxbury, Deutsches Altenehim is part of Legacy Lifecare–a non-profit, mission driven organization which has been providing innovative care to the elderly and disabled in Massachusetts for over 100 years.

We are currently seeking an experienced Dietary Director to lead our Dietary Team at the Deutsches Altenheim Facility.

German Centre at Deutsches Altenheim located in West Roxbury, MA, is a skilled nursing residence and post-acute care provider that consistently delivers high-quality, compassionate care while focusing on the development of innovative programs and services that enable individuals to live as independently as possible.

Qualifications :

• Required : A minimum of seven years restaurant or food service management experience including production, service, sanitation, training and education.
• Required LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS : Serve Safe Certified obtained within 6 months of employment. Additional certifications required by federal, state and / or local regulations
• Preferred : Bachelor s degree in Hospitality, Culinary, Restaurant / Institution Management, Dietetics or Nutrition preferred.

Position Overview :

Hours : Full-Time Monday Friday; Some evening and weekend coverage (if needed) to manage the department.
