Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Maintenance Technician job for our client in Indianapolis, IN.

Duration : Permanent Placement

Duties :

Perform minor repairs to buildings and light equipment, including plumbing, lighting, greenhouse irrigation, and cooling systems.

Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks by scheduled deadlines.

Inspect company vehicles, maintain cleanliness, and schedule servicing.

Perform routine groundskeeping duties such as mowing, edging, and weed control.

Complete parts and supply runs as needed.

Assist with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.

Load and unload truck shipments.

Manage assigned work orders and requests promptly.

Safely use and maintain power tools and hand tools.

Skills :

Strong written and verbal communication.

Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office and Internet applications.

Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Safety-focused, following established Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines.

Attention to detail.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Ability to operate and repair farm equipment (tractors, planters, irrigation equipment) is a plus.

Experience :

1–3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing or agricultural environments.

Forklift experience (current or recent certification preferred).

Ability to handle physical demands including standing, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting 20–50 pounds regularly (team assistance for over 50 pounds).

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid, unrestricted driver’s license required.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position is up to $28.00 / hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
