Construction Excavation Superintendent

Shift / Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Pay Rate : $35-45 / hour, Depending on Experience

Location : Denver, CO 80207

Experience : 10+ years construction (Heavy Civil, Excavation, Site Work).

The Construction Excavation Superintendent oversees on-site excavation operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and on budget, managing a crew and coordinating with subcontractors. They monitor progress and maintain site safety and quality standards.

Construction Excavation Superintendent Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage field crews to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain smooth operations.
  • Oversee excavation, grading, utility installation, and site development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track progress, manage equipment and material needs, and resolve on-site challenges.

    • Construction Excavation Superintendent Requirements :

  • 10+ years of experience in excavation, heavy civil, or site work construction.
  • Proven supervisory / leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of excavation equipment, digging, trenching, grading, and site preparation techniques.
  • Understanding and adherence to safety standards and protocols.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
  • OSHA 30.
  • CDL a plus.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus.
