🏢 About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of payroll processing and administration. This role is ideal for a professional with at least five years of payroll experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to expand their knowledge into benefits administration.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and compensation changes.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process payroll, generate reports, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and employee data.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related filings, including W-2s, 1099s, and quarterly tax reports.
- Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate documentation and reports.
- Partner with HR to learn and assist in benefits administration , including enrollments, deductions, and reconciliations.
🧠 Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of payroll experience , preferably in a mid-sized organization.Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is required.Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Eagerness to learn and grow into benefits administration responsibilities.🌟 Preferred Skills
Experience with multi-state payroll processing.Familiarity with benefits platforms and HRIS systems.Knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, and ACA compliance.
