We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Monroe, North Carolina. This is a contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the daily operations of the office while supporting administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. This role is part time 20 hours per week, 8am - 1pm, M-Th.

Responsibilities :

  • Welcome visitors and manage receptionist duties, ensuring an organized and friendly environment.
  • Organize and execute document scanning activities to maintain accurate digital records.
  • Handle inbound calls by providing assistance or directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Perform various clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Support administrative needs by coordinating schedules and assisting with general office operations.
  • Proven experience in receptionist or administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in document scanning and maintaining digital records.
  • Strong communication skills for managing phone calls and visitor interactions.
  • Ability to perform clerical duties with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with office software and equipment.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education level.
