Meeting Event Manager I

The Meeting Event Manager I serves as the primary client liaison and lead for assigned programs / events. This role manages corporate meetings and events through the implementation of strategy, delivery of objectives, and execution of logistics, while effectively working with clients. The manager coordinates all planning from post-contract execution to final billing, while delivering unparalleled levels of customer service. This position collaborates closely with the client contact to understand and meet program objectives and outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

• Manage event logistics using the business program / event management system from contract turnover to final billing.
• Coordinate communication between suppliers and clients, including site inspections.
• Develop detailed itineraries and working agendas outlining all event specifics.
• Collaborate with accounting to finalize billing and ensure accurate client invoicing.
• Maintain accurate records and complete file management per company policies.
• Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring objectives are met and expectations are clear.
• Conduct regular status meetings with clients and stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.
• Track and report expenses, manage budgets, and reconcile supplier payments.

Work Location : This is a hybrid role requiring regular in-office presence. Candidates must reside in the Cincinnati, OH area.
