Are you a compassionate, experienced RN looking to step into a rewarding leadership role in hospice care? Advanced Home Health and Hospice of Kansas City is seeking a dedicated Hospice Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical hospice team with vision, integrity, and heart.

About the Role :
As the Hospice Director of Nursing , you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospice nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery, regulatory compliance, and team development. This salaried, full-time position plays a key role in shaping our culture of excellence, compassion, and patient-centered care.
Schedule : Monday through Friday
Employment Type : Full-Time, Salaried
Location : Kansas City, MO
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision and leadership to the hospice nursing and clinical teams
- Oversee clinical practices, ensure adherence to hospice policies, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and monitor patient care plans
- Support and mentor staff to promote professional growth and consistent care standards
- Serve as the primary clinical liaison with physicians, families, and referral partners
- Participate in QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) initiatives
