job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and / or vehicles at the location. Verify identification and credentials of individuals seeking access to restricted areas within the healthcare facility. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and / or concerns according to site procedures. Collaborate with staff and visitors to address questions regarding access control and security-related protocols at the location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Job Description
As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Rensselaer, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, staying visible to provide reassurance, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. - Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
