ABOUT CENTRO DE LA FAMILIA (CDLF)
We offer outpatient behavioral health services for families and individuals of all ages, including those living with serious mental illness (SMI), general mental health issues, and substance abuse issues. Outpatient services offer flexible office hours and home-based services for children and their families, public transit access, and therapy in English and Spanish.
OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision from the Associate Director, the Lead Clinician provides support for the clinical team at CDLF. This role partners with leadership to ensure team and individual goals are being met, addressing concerns as needed. The Lead Clinician may also perform Director-assigned duties, developing their own leadership skills.
As a clinician, this role provides high-quality, client-centered behavioral health services through indirect and direct care, coordination with community resources, and collaborative treatment planning, supporting individuals in achieving improved mental health and overall well-being.
Lead support for clinicians
Provide regular 1 : 1 and group supportTraining support for new hiresWork with leadership to ensure production goals are metAssist staff with problem-solving barriers to meeting production goalsParticipate in a multi-disciplinary team providing treatment for clients to ensure effective, holistic care
Coordinate services with other treatment providers, both internally and externallyMedication and case management - consult and coordinate with prescribers, laboratories, medical providers, and pharmacies, and assist with eligibility and access to prescription services when neededCarry an individual caseload, providing individual / family counseling and facilitating groups
Deliver direct and indirect covered services to individual clients, conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and facilitate out-of-office services as neededEngage clients, their families and their community support in treatment, provide illness self-management education, and coordinate services with referral sources and discharge planningMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Background :
Master’s Degree in a behavioral health-related fieldTwo (2) years of full-time behavioral health work experienceMust be atleast a registered associate with the AZ Board of Behavorial Health Examiners. LAC / LPC, LMSW / LCSW, LAAC / LIAC, or LMFTMust possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured under an automobile insurance policyAbility to obtain a fingerprint clearance card, CPR, and First Aid certificationBilingual language skills in English / Spanish highly preferredTOTAL REWARDS
