Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing and communication team members and other teams to align multimedia efforts with strategic communication initiatives and brand guidelines.
- Lead the planning, production, editing, and distribution of multimedia content ensuring alignment with brand tone and visual guidelines.
- Video production : Manage all aspects of video production, producing compelling and / or educational content.
- Motion graphics : Design engaging motion graphics that support digital engagement campaigns, primarily for social media and digital advertising.
- Photography : Capture high-quality images reflecting KTA\'s values and supporting strategic direction.
- Graphic design : Create static graphics such as newsletters, flyers / posters, reports, wearables, etc., that align with brand guidelines and support broader engagement strategies.
- Audio : Plan, draft, coordinate, record, and edit audio files for advertising, podcasts, phone hold messages, and other uses.
- Supervise and mentor staff with creative responsibilities, managing quality and timelines while fostering a culture of creative excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversight of creative equipment and tools such as cameras, recording equipment, software, and KTA TVs.
- Research and recommend new creative tools, technologies, and best practices for digital engagement.
- Collaborate with IT on customer-centric web design (user interface and experience).
- Support crisis-response as needed with quick production and distribution of content.
Latitude and Impact
This position works independently and as part of a team, providing input and problem solving with others. It involves negotiation, diplomacy, and persuasion with internal / external customers, partners, vendors, etc. Participation in short-term and long-term planning is expected. Decisions are made in conjunction with others and independently for tasks, department, and organizational policies. Successful completion impacts procedures, operating costs, customer satisfaction, and company reputation. Work Environment
The work environment is primarily office-based with occasional work at production locations (other KTA facilities and work sites). Work involves computers, production equipment, and other office devices. Occasional production facility work and exposure to weather elements are possible. Personal protective equipment may be required intermittently.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for long periods, frequent standing / walking, and ability to hear and communicate. Ability to lift, push, or pull and transport video and other equipment up to 50 lbs. Ability to differentiate colors and shapes within images. Visual requirements include the ability to visualize and focus on screens at various distances. Depth perception and ability to distinguish sound tones are also required.
