RPM Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Fiber Optic Technician in McKinney, Texas!

The well qualified candidate will be responsible for preparing fiber optic connectors for assembly in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strip fiber optic connectors to expose bare fiber with precision.
  • Apply epoxy to prepared fiber connectors following standard procedures.
  • Place connectors in an oven for curing, ensuring proper temperature and timing.
  • Allow connectors to cool safely after curing.
  • Transfer completed connectors to the next stage of the production line.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in fiber optic assembly or similar manufacturing role required.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to follow precise instructions and maintain consistent quality.
  • Familiarity with handling delicate materials and basic knowledge of curing processes.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production environment.

  • Full-time position with potential for overtime.
  • Requires standing for extended periods and working with small components.
  • Adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
