Accounts Receivable Supervisor
JM&A Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our finance team. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight to the Accounts Receivable department, ensuring operational excellence and contributing to the ongoing modernization of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise Accounts Receivable Associates, providing leadership, direction, and mentorship to support individual and team development.
Supervise the payment receipts and application processes. Ensure payments are applied to the dealers' accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
Supervise AR ACH activities, including coordinating dealer enrollments for ACH, and managing monthly payment and refund processes.
Oversee dealer account maintenance, ensuring reconciliations, accurate payment notes, and timely follow ups.
Assist with the month end close processes.
Assist in the strategic planning and implementation of the Accounts Receivable modernization project, facilitating the adoption of advanced technologies and improved workflows.
Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators within the AR function to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to organizational standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, streamline processes, and support the broader objectives of the organization.
Oversee training and professional development initiatives for team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Identify and implement best practices to enhance the quality, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction of accounts receivable operations.
Requirements
A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable or related finance positions.
Two (2) to three (3) years of supervisory experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in Power Query and complex data analysis.
Experience with NetSuite, and SalesForce strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with process improvement initiatives is considered an asset.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
