Provider Certification Administration Coordinator
This position is located in Baton Rouge, LA. This is a temporary job appointment that may last up to 4 years only. Office of Early Childhood Operations Job Focus Area The Provider Certification Administration Coordinator is responsible for processing initial and renewal applications for Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) providers within the Edlink portal. This role involves reviewing applications, verifying documentation, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with certification requirements. The Coordinator will also manage communication with providers regarding application status and necessary corrections.

Three years of experience in administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION : Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties : Review and process initial and renewal provider applications submitted through the Edlink portal, ensuring all required information is accurate and complete. Ensure that children under 13 years old residing with the provider are counted in the home's capacity of care and that the capacity is set appropriately. Confirm that secondary providers have the same required verifications as the primary provider. Verify that support staff (e.g., cooks, housekeepers, landscapers) have completed criminal background checks on file and ensure they do not work directly with children.
Appointment Type : Job Appointment. This position will be filled as a temporary job appointment that may last up to 4 years. The person hired for this position is expected to regularly report to the Baton Rouge office. Work Schedule : Work hours are Monday - Friday. Work hours will be determined. Compensation : The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Note regarding the advertised pay range : The maximum amounts listed are the maximum salary amounts a person can make over their career and not the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.
