Our main office is located in the greater Las Vegas area.\n\nThe Oncology RN will collaborate with Clinical Operations, Nursing staff, and Physicians to meet or exceed clinic goals by prioritizing workloads to address administrative, operational, and support needs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities : \n

• Deliver care to critically or chronically ill cancer patients.\n
• Administer chemotherapy or other symptom relief treatments as per Physician's orders and monitor patient progress.\n
• Create a supportive setting, educating cancer patients about treatment processes and disease specifics.\n
• Support patients with life-threatening diagnoses and provide a stable environment to help them and their families navigate treatment and cope with difficult outcomes.\n
• Ensure strict adherence to federal and state regulations along with company policies and procedures.\n
• Consistently deliver patient care in alignment with OptumCare's best practices and industry standards.\n

• Current, unrestricted NV RN license or a temporary NV RN license with the capacity to secure a permanent NV RN license upon expiration.\n
• Chemotherapy / Biotherapy certification.\n
• 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting, acute care, or direct care involving adult patients.\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in nursing processes.\n
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient / client sites within the designated area.\n\nPreferred Qualifications : \n
• OCN certification.\n
• 1+ years of oncology nursing experience.\n
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).\n
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with electronic medical records.\n
• Personal resilience and compassion to support patients facing serious illnesses.\n\nCompensation is based on various factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
