Hayes Center Public Schools seeks applications for the position of Superintendent of School. The District is located in Hayes Center in Southwest Nebraska, with a PK-12 enrollment of 150 students. The District has strong support from students, families, and the community; is financially stable; has an invested faculty and staff with longevity; and conservative values.

The Superintendent of Schools provides leadership and supervision to the faculty, staff, and students of a Nebraska school district in accordance with the policies and directives of the district’s Board of Education.  Candidates must possess or be able to acquire by the opening date of the position, a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate endorsed fully or provisionally for the PK-12 Superintendency.   An Educational Specialist degree, Doctorate in Educational Administration, or an equivalent credential approved by the Nebraska Department of Education is required for this position.
