Legal Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join our office. We are looking for an organized individual with strong communication skills. This position will handle primarily administrative tasks which may include, interviewing new clients, light form driven drafting, and electronic filing with the court. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to stay organized and follow through. There is opportunity to learn and grow within our firm. Health Insurance will be offered after 90 Day probation period. Training is offered on-site.

Responsibilities

• Update files in our case management software
• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
• e-filing documents with the court
• Communicate with the court and Sheriff
• Update clients via telephone and email
• Help with administrative tasks in the office
