Overview
We are seeking an Orchestral String Instrument Repair Technician / Luthier to join our team. The position is flexible and could be full-time or part-time; benefits listed assume full-time. You will be responsible for determining customer repair needs, diagnosing issues, evaluating sound, and recommending repair or restoration steps.
You will use tools alongside your own hearing to diagnose instruments, disassemble and reassemble as needed, and repair or replace instrument parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with orchestral string instruments, a musical background, and strong problem-solving skills.

Pay : Hourly or Commission-based (negotiable). If hourly, starting at 17 / hr (based on experience). If commission, 45% of labor for customer repairs.
