New Business Sales - Automotive Software role at CDK Global. Remote / Field : To be considered for this role, you must reside in Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Montana or Washington. CDK Global is a leading provider of cloud-based software to dealerships and OEMs across automotive and related industries.
Position Summary
The Account Development Executive for our Small Dealer Services team creates business relationships in competitive accounts selling CDK's DMS solutions. In this role you will grow new market share through conquest sales, selling to Franchise Dealers with 2 sites or less. You will work with channel partners to increase sales opportunities in CDK strategic products in conquest accounts and achieve the annual sales plan under the guidance of Sales Leadership.
Responsibilities
- Uncover dealer prospect needs and challenge clients to maximize their business results by embracing CDK solutions.
- Consistent sales calls.
- Maintain 80% face-to-face activity with dealerships.
- Travel up to 80% with overnight stays as required.
- Engage in the solution selling process and manage overall account relationships.
- Close business to achieve the assigned annual quota.
- Ensure competitors do not penetrate accounts.
- Analyze data to include total dealer spend and usage of CDK solutions.
- Assimilate product and technology knowledge to configure and quote product solutions.
- Maximize resources by engaging the full breadth of CDK channel partners.
- Gain quick access to key decision makers and maintain regular communication with channels and management.
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in B2B technology or solution sales.Experience uncovering new business accounts.Automotive industry experience preferred but not required.Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, Monday–Friday, including overnight travel.Ability to overcome objections easily.Experience using consultative solution selling to align client needs with a solution.Experience negotiating and closing sales opportunities.Experience developing and managing a sales territory.Self-driven, persistent, ambitious, and highly motivated.Excellent communication, listening and questioning skills.Microsoft Office and CRM skills.Salary & Benefits
Salary : $75,000 + Uncapped Commissions
