Investment Inflation Sensitive And Diversifying Analyst

The Office of Investments is seeking an Analyst to join our collaborative investment team, working alongside portfolio managers and fellow analysts who value intellectual curiosity and teamwork. Under the guidance of senior managers, the Analyst will contribute to the evaluation of new investment managers, as well as monitor and analyze manager performance. Responsibilities include :

• Assisting the portfolio team in conducting investment analysis to inform decisions for our diversified global portfolio.
• Supporting the sourcing, research, analysis, and ongoing due diligence of external investment managers.
• Preparing data-driven investment memos and recommendations for prospective portfolio investments.
• Contributing to project-based work, including liquidity analysis, fee and term assessments, portfolio company metrics, and exposure reviews.
• Documenting meeting notes and maintaining thorough qualitative and quantitative records related to investments.
• Networking with institutional peers and managers to stay abreast of market trends and identify potential investment opportunities.
• Collaborating with team members across asset classes to exchange best practices, refine underwriting and reporting processes, and conduct topical analyses.
• Partnering with colleagues in Risk and Investment Operations teams to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
• Preparing presentation exhibits for the management team.
• Supporting some facets of the investment process, including the selection and monitoring of external investment specialists across asset classes.
• Assisting with sourcing and due diligence of potential new investments and performing industry analysis to determine investment attractiveness of various investment strategies.
• Performing other related work as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a college or university degree in a related field and knowledge and skills developed through less than 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline. Preferred qualifications include coursework in finance, economics, or accounting, and work towards a CFA designation. Proficiency with Bloomberg, Cambridge Associates data, and benchmarking processes, understanding of data analytics, proficiency with software programs such as AirTable and Tableau, and advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products are also preferred. Exceptional analytical abilities, excellent writing skills, strong verbal communication skills, superior organizational skills, exemplary work ethic, genuine interest in portfolio management, and unwavering professionalism are highly valued.

Working conditions include an office setting Monday through Thursday with a remote option on Friday, and some US travel. Application documents required include a resume / CV and cover letter.
