This role provides general accounting support to the local management team and the accounting department in the areas of assets and inventory analysis and controls. Is responsible for managing inventory items and the daily inventory operations of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to :
- Follows health and environmental safety guidelines / procedures set for this role, including but not limited to wearing proper PPE and not operating any equipment or machinery the Team Members has not been trained to operate.
- Ensures daily production is entered and reported accurately across all systems.
- Ensures Cycle Counts accuracies and investigates variances prior to reporting track Cycle Count Process to ensure products are counted timely.
- Performs a key role in preparing and executing physical inventory audits.
- Communicates with production and shipping departments to ensure any variances are investigated and corrected in system.
- Supports the Inventory Specialists with cycle counts and investigations.
- Serves as key trainer for all Inventory Specialist for all sites and divisions.
- Works with other members of the accounting team to audit asset list when required.
- Responsible for the accuracy of inventory in the FIXX system.
- Follows all health & safety procedures and does not use any equipment unless he / she has received specific training and certification.
- All other assignments and duties are necessary to the operation of the site and the company.
- Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or a senior member of the management team and considered a business necessity.
EDUCATION
Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field or three (3) years of experience in inventory management.EXPERIENCE
Proficient in Excel1 year of experience in production and inventoryExperience utilizing multiple data basesStrong problem-solving skillsMon-Fri 7am-4pm
