Accounting Manager / Controller
The City of San Marino is seeking an experienced, hands-on, and detail-oriented finance professional with a strong background in governmental accounting and public sector finance who brings innovative problem-solving skills and a collaborative leadership style. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Manager / Controller will play a key role in overseeing the budget development processes, including long-term financial planning, multi-year forecasting, supporting organizational priorities such as infrastructure investments, service expansion, or sustainability initiatives through sound fiscal planning and forecasting, and enhancing internal controls. The Accounting Manager / Controller will oversee an accounting team of two and collaborate with the Director of Finance to steward the City's $46 million annual operating and capital budget, provide sound financial projections for decision-making, and secure the City of San Marino's fiscal future.
