Candidates must have 3+ years of Labor and Delivery experience.

Candidates must possess BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.

Description :

This position involves providing specialized nursing care for labor and delivery patients.

You will be responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care throughout the stages of labor.

The role includes caring for postpartum patients and high-risk antepartum patients.

Typical procedures involve assisting with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.

You will apply the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Candidates should be flexible, friendly, and dependable.

The unit has a matrix staff ratio that provides adequate support during shifts.

Patient ratios are 2 : 1 for standard cases and 1 : 1 for complicated cases.

This role requires the use of specific equipment such as fetal heart rate monitors.

Candidates with additional experience in Mom / Baby, Pediatrics, and NICU are preferred.
