About the Role
Mineral Community Hospital is looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! This position plays a key role in ensuring our hospital remains safe, functional, and comfortable for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. If you’re a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in quality work and teamwork, we’d love to meet you.
$1,000 sign on bonus distributed during your first 6 months of employment!
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance throughout the hospital and associated buildings.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Assist with maintaining boilers, compressors, and generators to ensure reliable operation.
- Support the hospital’s infection control, fire safety, and environmental health programs.
- Respond to maintenance requests, emergencies, and call-ins as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, safety checklists, and documentation for compliance.
- Perform lawn care, snow removal, and general upkeep of hospital grounds.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Manager, contractors, and staff to ensure a safe, efficient environment.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)Low-Pressure Boiler Engineer License (State of Montana) — or ability to obtain within 6 months of hireValid driver’s license and insurable driving recordExcellent communication, organization, and time management skillsComfortable working indoors and outdoors, often on ladders or in physically active conditionsWhy Join Mineral Community Hospital?
