The base pay for this position ranges from $147,600 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $244,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Own end-to-end design process for major product initiatives
Create comprehensive design systems that scale
Develop user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
Ensure consistent, high-quality design implementation
Pioneer new interaction patterns and visual frameworks
Research & Innovation
Partner with research teams to gather actionable insights
Conduct competitive analysis and market research
Apply data analytics to inform design decisions
Explore emerging technologies and their design implications
Lead design sprints and innovation workshops
Team Leadership
Mentor and develop junior designers
Foster a culture of design excellence and innovation
Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback
Build and maintain design team processes
Collaborate with recruitment to grow the design team
Qualifications Experience
10+ years of product design experience
Portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving
Track record of shipping successful digital products
Experience leading design teams or major initiatives
History of cross-functional collaboration
Technical Skills
Expert knowledge of UI / UX design principles
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools
Understanding of technical constraints and possibilities
Experience with design systems and pattern libraries
Knowledge of accessibility standards
Leadership Skills
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to influence without authority
Experience mentoring and developing others
Track record of driving innovation
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Design, HCI, or related field
Experience with emerging technologies (AR / VR, AI / ML)
Background in consumer-facing products
International market experience
Published articles or conference presentations
Experience with agile development methodologies
