Salary Range : $90,000 - $100,000

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement and materials management functions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in sourcing and managing large-scale materials, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization. This individual will play a key role in building Bills of Materials (BOM) for new product lines, maintaining pricing structures, and driving supply chain efficiency to support production and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the full purchasing cycle, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing relationship management.

Build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for all new product lines, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production requirements.

Analyze and adjust pricing as needed to reflect market trends, material costs, and supplier performance.

Manage and develop supplier partnerships to ensure consistent quality, delivery reliability, and cost competitiveness.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and finance to align purchasing strategies with organizational objectives.

Oversee inventory levels, purchasing budgets, and procurement reporting to maintain operational efficiency.

Utilize SAP (or similar ERP systems) to track purchasing activity, material requirements, and supplier performance metrics.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (required).

Minimum of 7 years of progressive purchasing or procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Proven experience managing large-scale or complex material categories.

Strong vendor management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Experience building BOMs and managing pricing updates.

Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP system preferred.

Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
